The Haven is seeking a passionate and experienced Community Education & Prevention Director to lead violence prevention, community education, and professional training initiatives throughout our service area.
This leadership position develops and oversees programs that promote healthy relationships, consent education, bystander intervention, and violence prevention while building strong partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders. The Director will facilitate trainings, supervise prevention staff, evaluate program outcomes, and help expand The Haven’s impact through community engagement and education.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Experience in prevention programming, community education, victim services, public health, or related field
• Strong presentation, leadership, and partnership-building skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices

The Haven is seeking compassionate, dedicated Advocates to provide trauma-informed support and case management services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and other interpersonal crimes.
As an Advocate, you will serve as a trusted source of support by providing crisis intervention, safety planning, emotional support, resource referrals, and advocacy. Advocates may assist survivors with shelter services, court accompaniment, medical advocacy, case management, hotline response, and connecting clients to community resources based on their individual needs.
What You'll Do:
Provide crisis intervention and safety planning
Offer emotional support and survivor-centered advocacy
Assist survivors in navigating legal, medical, housing, and community resources
Conduct assessments, enrollments, and service planning
Document services and maintain confidentiality
Participate in on-call rotations and hotline support as assigned
Collaborate with community partners and multidisciplinary teams

The Haven is hiring compassionate and dedicated Medical Advocate to provide trauma-informed support to survivors of sexual and domestic violence.
Medical Advocates respond to hospital calls, provide crisis intervention, assist with safety planning, support survivors through medical and legal processes, and collaborate with healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and community partners. This position plays a vital role in ensuring survivors receive immediate support, advocacy, and access to critical resources.
Qualifications:
• Experience or training in victim advocacy, social services, counseling, or related fields preferred
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Commitment to survivor-centered and trauma-informed care
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• Experience working with survivors of sexual or domestic violence
• Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situations
